International Day of Forests

Traditionally, since 2012, March 21 has been celebrated as International Forest Day. At its session in 2012, the United Nations General Assembly decided to declare the day of the spring equinox as this important ecological date with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of forests and green areas. More precisely, this date includes three holidays: Forest Day, Tree Day, and Planting Day. More information can be found at the following link.
